What each option does
Trim each line removes spaces and tabs from the start and end of every
line — handy when text was indented or padded. Collapse spaces squeezes
any run of spaces or tabs down to a single space, fixing the double- and triple-spacing you
often get from copied PDFs.
Remove all spaces strips every space and tab entirely (useful for codes or
IDs) and takes priority over collapsing. Remove empty lines deletes blank
lines and lines that contain only whitespace, closing up the gaps in pasted content.
Tabs & spaces converts leading tab indentation into a chosen number of
spaces, or the reverse — useful when a file mixes both. Everything runs in the order shown,
so the result reflects each option layered on top of the last.
