IBPS & SBI Bank Exam Photo & Signature Resizer

IBPS bank recruitments — PO/MT, Clerk, Specialist Officer and the RRB Officer Scale and Office Assistant exams, plus SBI runs on the same portal engine — ask for four separate uploads: a photograph of 20–50 KB against a light background, a signature of 10–20 KB, a left-thumb impression of 20–50 KB, and a hand-written declaration image. Applicants regularly get stuck because the thumb impression and declaration are unusual scans that come off the phone or scanner far too large. This tool sizes your photo to the 200 × 230 px / 20–50 KB window the IBPS registration page enforces, and the notes below spell out the thumb and declaration limits so all four files clear. Everything is processed on your device — none of your images are uploaded to us.

Good to know

  • Photo output is held under 50 KB and sized to 200 × 230 px — the IBPS/SBI photograph spec against a light (preferably white) background.
  • Left-thumb impression (20–50 KB, roughly 240 × 240 px): scan your left thumb in black or blue ink and drop it in the tool to hit the same 20–50 KB band as the photo.
  • Hand-written declaration: IBPS wants the specified sentence written by hand in running English on white paper — scan it, then compress it here so it clears the portal's size ceiling.
  • Signature guidance (10–20 KB, ~140 × 60 px) is in the table below — run your signature scan through a second time to land in that window.
  • All four images are handled on a canvas in your browser — no upload, no account, no watermark.

Frequently Asked Questions

What files does the IBPS / SBI application need and at what sizes?
Four: a photograph (20–50 KB), a signature (10–20 KB), a left-thumb impression (20–50 KB) and a hand-written declaration image. The photo should be around 200 × 230 px on a light background; the signature around 140 × 60 px. Sizes can shift between notifications, so confirm against the current advertisement on ibps.in.
How do I make the left-thumb impression the right size?
Press your left thumb in black or blue ink onto white paper, scan or photograph it, crop to roughly a 240 × 240 px square, then run it through the tool to bring it into the 20–50 KB range — the same band IBPS uses for the photograph.
What is the hand-written declaration and why does it get rejected?
IBPS asks you to copy a set declaration sentence by hand in running English (not capital letters) on white paper and upload a scan of it. Rejections usually come from writing in capitals, an over-large file, or a blurry scan. Scan it clearly, then compress the image here so it fits the portal's upload limit.
Does the same tool work for SBI PO and SBI Clerk?
Yes. SBI's own PO, Clerk and SO recruitments use the same photo/signature/thumb/declaration set with the same 20–50 KB and 10–20 KB style limits, so the process here applies to SBI applications too. Always cross-check the exact numbers in the specific SBI notification.
Are my photo, signature and thumb impression uploaded anywhere?
No. Every image is resized and compressed locally in your browser, so nothing — photo, signature, thumb impression or declaration — is ever sent to a server.
