It is the buy-side counterpart to an invoice: you issue the PO, the vendor fulfils it and then bills you against it. This tool makes a clean, numbered PO you can email or print.

How does the tax option work? ▼
You can pick None, a single Tax % applied to the subtotal, or an India GST split. For GST, choose CGST + SGST (which divides the rate into two equal halves, typical for a supply within the same state) or IGST (a single line, typical for inter-state supply). Enter the total GST rate that applies to the goods or services.
Should I add GSTINs on a purchase order? ▼
For a GST-registered business it is good practice to show your own GSTIN and, for a B2B order, the vendor's GSTIN too — it keeps the paper trail clean when the vendor later raises a tax invoice against your PO. The tool checks the format of any GSTIN you enter and shows its state. Leave the fields blank if they don't apply.
