About the quotation generator

A clear quotation wins the work. This free tool builds a clean, professional quote or estimate with your business and client details, an itemised list, automatic totals, optional tax or an India GST split, and your own logo. It defaults to the Indian rupee with Indian-style digit grouping and also supports the dollar, euro and pound. Everything is calculated and rendered right in your browser, so your figures and logo are never uploaded.

  • Add as many line items as you need — the subtotal, tax and grand total recalculate instantly.
  • Set a Valid until date so the client knows how long your prices hold.
  • Use the GST split for a same-state supply (CGST + SGST) or IGST for inter-state.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I save the quotation as a PDF?
Click Download PDF and the quote is generated right on your device and downloaded as a clean, single-click PDF — no print dialog, no browser headers or URLs on the page, and nothing uploaded.
What is the difference between a quotation and an invoice?
A quotation (or estimate) is an offer sent before work begins — it proposes prices and is usually marked with a validity date. An invoice is a demand for payment sent after goods or services are delivered. This tool builds the quote; convert it to an invoice once the client accepts.
How does the validity date work?
The Valid until date tells the client how long your quoted prices hold. After that date you are free to re-quote. It is shown in the quote header and is a good idea whenever costs can move — it protects you and sets a clear deadline for the client to decide.
How does the tax option work?
You can pick None, a single Tax % applied to the subtotal, or an India GST split. For GST, choose CGST + SGST (which divides the rate into two equal halves, typical for a supply within the same state) or IGST (a single line, typical for inter-state supply). Enter the total GST rate that applies to your goods or services.
Is my data private, and can I add a logo?
Yes. The quotation is built entirely in your browser — your business details, client details and even your logo never leave your device. Click Choose logo to add an image; it is read locally, shown at the top of the quote, and removable any time.
