This tool copies the audio track out of a video and re-encodes just that track to
MP3, M4A, AAC, OGG, WAV or FLAC — the picture is dropped, only the sound is kept. It's handy for saving a
song, a podcast recording, a lecture or an interview from a video file, or for pulling a
voice-over out of a clip. The whole job runs inside your browser, so your video stays on
your device and is never sent to a server. The compressed formats (MP3, M4A, AAC, OGG) let you choose a
bitrate from 128 to 320 kbps; WAV is uncompressed 16-bit PCM and FLAC is lossless-but-compressed for an exact copy of the audio.
